The Ventilex shaking mechanism

The shaking movement is a mechanical movement, realized with a crank-shaft drive mechanism. The amplitude of movement remains constant while the frequency can be adjusted according to the required transport speed. The fluidisation of the product is improved.

With the simple shaking movement, you are assured that your product is transported in a first in - first out series. This is one of the great advantages that this mechanism gives you, the processor, over vibratory drives.

The air-bellows cushion the mechanism and accurately control the movement, along with the frequency or speed of the drive motor. The entire dryer is attached to the upper steel "C" beams and the entire product bed is raised and moved forward within the Fluid Bed Dryer at the same time. This unique drive system is simple, has very few moving parts, and is easy to maintain.

With the Ventilex exclusive drive system, you are assured of accurate drying times for your product. This means that all product will discharge from the dryer at the same moisture content without burning, damage, or under drying.

The transport velocity trough the dryer can be altered by altering the shaking frequency. The amplitude (fixed distance) is 20 mm, independent of the shaking frequency. The standard acceleration angle is 70° to horizontal. Low frequency - Acceleration under 1 xg  - results in no stress cracks, insulation stays on, no popped rivets or broken bolts.
