Belt dryers are very suited for products which are very breakable or where long residence times are required. Particularly it is suitable to dry the raw materials of sheet, strip or granules.
The raw material is spread on the conveyer belt through suitable auxiliary mechanism such as distributor, vibrating belt, pulveriser or granulator. The conveyor passes one channel or several channels consisting of heating unit. Each heating unit is equipped with air heating and circle system. Each channel has one or several damp exhaust system. When the conveyor passes it ,hot air passes through raw material from bottom to top or from top to bottom. In this way it makes raw material dry uniformly. The heat source may be steam, natural gas alternative energy form.
Applications
This type of dryer is especially suited for product which require long residence time or are very breakable. The belt drier is usually continuous dry one. It is used in the chemical industry, foodstuff industry, pharmaceutical industry, electronics industry and so on.
Key features
The amount of air, temperature of heat, stay time of raw material can be adjusted in order to get the best dry effect The configuration of equipment is flexible.
All known chain-guided and chainless belt systems are used for optimum product transport. Hole dimensions and mesh size of the belt is matched to the product. Even special surface finishes such as electro polishing or Teflon coating are available.
Easy installation
Thanks to our modular design and ready-to-install subassemblies, the system can be set up quickly at your location and the start-up immediately after installation is smooth and efficient.
Easy operating control system
Based on PLC controls, we can offer you the automated solutions that you desire, from a simple visualization concept with touch screen operation to complex process visualization and control room function.
Belts
The suitable belt is selected depending on the product. Depending on the type, the belt is driven by flat or grooved drive, laterally arranged idler chains or deviating rolls. The belt is supported by carrier rollers or guide rails and sealed laterally by revolving strings or flexible sealing lips.
